Restoring the Cetățuie – Baciului Gorges connection is undeniably the central purpose of the sustainable development of the Someș-Nadăș interfluve within the municipality of Cluj-Napoca. This connection links the city center to a metropolitan park of more than 1500 hectares, and is therefore superordinate to other development goals such as the N-S terrestrial transit of the interfluve, the extension of the Ethnographic Park, and other industrial and residential undertakings in the area.
